The National Achievement Survey (NAS) is a national level large-scale assessment conducted to obtain information about the learning achievement of students of Classes 3, 5, 8 and 10 studying in State Govt. schools, Govt. Aided schools, Private Unaided and Central Govt. schools. NAS does not provide scores for individual student/school.

NCERT, under the aegis of Ministry of Education, conducted the National Achievement Survey (NAS) throughout the country on November 13, 2021, for Classes 3, 5, 8 and 10 in government, government-aided schools, private recognized and central government schools. The survey tools used multiple test booklets with 50 questions in Classes 3 and 5, 60 questions in Class 8, 70 questions in Class 10 in Mathematics, Language, Sciences, Environmental Studies and Social Sciences. The competency-based test questions reflect the learning outcomes developed by NCERT which were recently incorporated in the RTE Act by the Government of India. Along with the test items, questionnaires about students, teachers and schools were also used.
This mobile application provides a quick and an easy access to information on learning outcome. Disaggregated and details learning achievement by management of schools, gender, social groups and location till district level in classes 3, 5 and 8 and detailed achievement by learning outcomes in classes 3, 5 and 8 are provided in the mobile app. After the selection of indicator and subgroup user can visualize information in charts and maps as per his/her choice and easily share through email or social media to any other user.
